The Jäynä Gala is an event held every five years to honour Tampere's most deserving Jäynäs over the years. The judging includes the fuksi series jäynäs, jäynäs from the general series and jäynäs from the National Jäynä competitions. Prizes will be awarded for the best performance, editing and staging, and the best Jäynäs will receive the coveted Golden head of Markku. The next Jäynägaala will take place in 2027.
